Our target
Our accessibility target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is a design and testing objective, not a certification or a claim that every page and interaction fully conforms.
We build with semantic headings, labeled form controls, keyboard access, visible focus, responsive layouts, and reduced-motion support. Automated checks are useful, but cannot establish accessibility on their own.
Using the site
A skip link moves directly to the main content. Navigation links and form controls can be reached with a keyboard. Browser zoom and text resizing are supported by the responsive layout.
Articles and source links can be read without JavaScript. Interactive calculators, organizers, and forms require JavaScript. Original government materials, including PDFs, may have different accessibility limitations.
Tell us where you encounter a barrier
Use the technical-problem category on the contact page. Include the page URL, what you tried to do, and the browser or assistive technology involved if you are comfortable sharing it. Do not include private financial or family information.
We review reports to improve the site. We cannot promise a particular response time or an alternative format before assessing the request.
